This post isn't about a sandwich, sorry, but Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. That is were I am blogging right now. Almost a year after I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, I finally made the step to see a specialist in the Gasteroenterology department. I have no idea what this appointment is really about, hopefully to help me feel better and have more energy. If you can believe it, I actually get very tired and have little energy during the day. But, then have a hard time getting to sleep at night so I end up sewing until too late. It's not the best cycle I am in, but I do get a lot of fun sewing projects done.
I just got my vitals taken and am waiting to see the doctor. I don't like taking anything, ever! This could be interesting, because on one hand I want to feel better but on the other I don't want to be over medicated. Hmmm, I wish I had an idea of what this appointment involved. To be continued...

oh my gosh, i didn't know you were going to mayo today! i hope everything goes ok, love you and thinking of you!
Thanks Ellie, I guess it went well. Put me on the strongest dose of the meds I was taking, instead of the lowest like I was right now. Go back in 8 weeks to see how it helps. I need to get back on the SCD diet too.
